DIY Placemat from Old Bedsheet | Tablecloth Makeover | Onion dye for fabrics
The food is delicious when the table is set beautifully. Having food together with the family at that beautiful table is even more relaxing and a refresh to the mind and soul.
I have seen many using food items to dye fabrics and i have always had a thought of trying. I used onion peels for dyeing because i felt the colour would match our apartment. Either i used less peels or used more water, somewhere i went wrong. But i got a beautiful light yellow colour for the net curtains for my dining hall. For the table cloth i wanted patterns, so i twisted and swirled then tying with a rubber brand. But for such patterns to stand out, the dye colour should have been more deep. It didn't come as per my expectation. Hence used bleach to get the pure white colour back. Gave some patterned stitch and that was better.
Hope you loved this video. Shall come up with more.
Hope you all are staying positive and staying safe at your end.
Take care and thank you so much for all your support with love.
