What i have in my kitchen storage | Coronavirus Precaution | Mutton Stew with ghee rice
Coronavirus has created a lot of fear and worry worldwide. But what I believe is panic will not work for such situation. We need to take the maximum measures we can to prevent this deadly virus. This is curable but prevention is always better than cure.
The basic hygiene rule is to keep yourself clean. Wash your hands whenever possible. Use hand sanitiser. But please do not stock up hundreds of bottles at home leaving nothing for others.
The country that I live in, Saudi Arabia, has positive cases reported , but at the same time, there are patients recovered from this. Thanks to the Saudi Govt. and the medical team for their hard work and effort put in.
Similarly all countries are taking their maximum effort for the country and its people. So let’s be very cooperative with them.
As a homemaker I try to protect my family the maximum I can. So we as parents, try to stay away from crowded areas, social gatherings, parks and many such, unless if necessary. My husband does the shopping and I stay with kids so that we don’t expose them. Kids have less immunity than adults. So let’s protect them.
To avoid the regular shopping, I purchased few grocery stuff which are very basic. At the same time, I think I have taken note of not stocking too much that other people have nothing. Some of the stuff that I have stored are Rice, wheat flour, sugar, salt, oil, lentils or pulses, cleaning stuffs such as washing powder, dish washing liquid, disinfectant, some stuffs for kids such as biscuits, cornflakes and such.
Every country would make sure that the residents have reach of all the basic stuffs. So I don’t think we need to convert our home to a storeroom or warehouse. I already had few in stock such as spices, toothpaste, soaps and shower gels. I have purchased according.
MAKE A LIST OF BASIC STUFFS ALREADY IN STOCK AT HOME AND WHAT YOU NEED MORE.
By the time you finish it, it would definitely be in stock again or govt. will make sure it is available soon.
DON’T PANIC, BE CAUTIOUS
STAY CLEAN, STAY SAFE
